Questions hosts ask
Do guests pay for the app?
No. Guests open a private link at no charge. Only you pay for GuestCheckNow. A guest pays a deposit or stay amount only when you ask them to, and that money is for the stay, not for the software.
Where does guest payment money go?
To your own South African bank account. GuestCheckNow provides checkout through Paystack and does not take a cut of the stay. Paystack’s processing fee comes off the payout. The About page and the refund policy explain the two kinds of payment in full.
Does it work with Airbnb and Booking.com?
Yes. You keep taking bookings on Airbnb, Booking.com or your own site. GuestCheckNow is the check-in pack you send after the booking is confirmed. It is not a listing site. If a guest booked on one of those platforms, that platform’s cancellation rules can still apply to the stay.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel during the 30-day trial and no charge is taken. On a paid plan, cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid. Email info@guestchecknow.co.za from the account email. Cooling-off and refund rules are on the Refunds & Cancellation page.
Is guest data safe?
Check-in details are for the host of that booking. The site uses HTTPS, we do not sell personal information, and we do not store full card numbers. Payments are handled by Paystack. The Privacy Policy sets out what we collect and how to ask for a correction or deletion.
